Departing from your hotel in Saly or the surrounding area, discover Dakar, the historic and cultural capital of West Africa. Admire the African Renaissance statue, then visit the Mosquée de la Divinité, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Stop off at the Soumbédioune craft village to discover the work of local artisans, before heading off to the Plateau district, where you'll find the Cathedral of African Remembrance, the railway station, the town hall, Place de l'Indépendance and the Presidential Palace.
After a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, set sail for Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its colorful streets and explore iconic sites such as the Maison des Esclaves, Fort d'Estrées, Saint-Charles Church and artists' studios.
